Alexander Rose's Hardwood Parasols are operated using a pulley and locking pin system. Simply pull the rope down to raise your parasol to the desired height, place the brass pin into one of the pole holes to secure. To lower the parasol remove the locking pin and allow the rope to pass through your hands until the canopy is folded.
Alexander Rose recommend that your parasol should not be left up during windy conditions and should always be used with an appropriate base to add stability. It is important to match the right base to the size of your parasol and furniture set, this is so it is safe and secure meaning you can enjoy it without any worry.
