A fast growing ecommerce retailer is seeking a passionate individual to join our Web Team.

Home & Garden Centre was founded in 2009, backed by an experienced garden centre team. We’re a popular online destination for garden gift vouchers, barbecues, garden furniture, seeds, and Christmas items. We are constantly expanding to reach bigger audiences and offer a wider range of products.

We’re an energetic and enthusiastic team, working from our office at Haddenham Garden Centre.

The role:

A full time role where specific areas of responsibility include assisting the eCommerce Manager with dispatching website and Amazon orders, managing customer service via email and telephone, liaising with our suppliers, managing stock levels, product descriptions and images.

Candidates should be proactive with sound communication ability, web-savvy, bright, willing to learn and able to pick up new computer programs with ease. Attention to detail and customer service skills are critical.

eCommerce Assistant duties:

  • Process and dispatch website and Amazon orders
  • Liaise with suppliers and couriers to process orders
  • Manage website stock inventory, maintain stock levels
  • Manage sales/customer service emails and phone calls


  • Manage product images using Photoshop
  • Write and edit product descriptions for a wide range of products, ensuring accurate and high quality content


  • Typical Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop skills required
  • Customer service experience and skills essential
  • Must be a good communicator
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience of an eCommerce platform desirable
