Product details:

Sitting within the Alexander Rose Signature collection of premium garden furniture is the Dana range - mid-century Danish, classic inspired designs made from high quality teak.

The Dana seat pad on the dining chairs, is woven from a natural coloured Teslin cord. With reference to traditional paper-cord weaving seen on Danish classics, the weatherproof cord offsets the Teak, giving the chair harmony and balance.

Teak

Teak furniture is often proudly bold and chunky however the Dana range has all the qualities of teak, but with an exceptionally elegant appearance. This collection stands apart from other teak outdoor furniture with it's clean lines and simple silhouettes and sleek appearance.

If left untreated teak will mellow to a beautiful silver/grey appearance. If you want to maintain the original colour, we recommend applying the Alexander Rose Timber Protector annually which will enhance the appearance. Alternatively you can apply the colourless Timber Shield every 6 months to help slow down the weathering process.

Timber Care

Alexander Rose manufactures garden furniture which will last for many years. Over time, as part of the natural weathering process, cracks and splits will appear in the wood particularly on the end grain and to a lesser extent on the surface. The drier the wood, the more cracks will appear due to the evaporation of natural oils and minerals in the wood from exposure to the elements.

As with most hardwoods, this is a normal characteristic for any timber which remains outdoors. The timber furniture is designed with this in mind and its strength and durability will remain unaffected.

Wooden furniture can be treated with Alexander Roses specially formulated care products to enhance the look of the wood.
