Product details:

The Monte Carlo range is crafted and hand-woven in Cebu, Alexander Rose use their own in-house weavers at the very top of their profession to provide the best quality furniture for their customers.

The structure of all Alexander Rose woven furniture is made from fully welded, powder-coated aluminium frames. The aluminium tubes used have a wall thickness of 1.5 mm to provide maximum strength and a lightweight frame. The frames are given a chemical bath before powder coating, which applies a consistent finish to the aluminium frame and helps prevent against weathering. The aluminium frames are electro statically powder coated to prevent them from oxidisation and ensures the longevity of your furniture, the finish is invisible once it has been woven over.

Monte Carlo Fibres

The 3mm textured synthetic rattan gives a natural feel and the Charcoal grey upholstered cushions compliment the mid grey weave. The weave fibres are UV and weather tested and are guaranteed for up to 3 years, free from defects such as cracking, peeling or breaking. The weave cleans easily with warm soapy water.

Pine

Pine is an extremely popular choice for garden furniture, sourced from responsibly managed forests in Eastern Europe, each piece is specially treated to make it suitable for outdoor use.

Please see images for a close up picture of the wood which has a rustic feel. Pine is a softwood with a figurative grain and a yellow/green colour that has been treated and will mellow over time to an attractive silver/grey.

Timber Care

Alexander Rose manufactures garden furniture which will last for many years. Over time, as part of the natural weathering process, cracks and splits will appear in the wood particularly on the end grain and to a lesser extent on the surface. The drier the wood, the more cracks will appear due to the evaporation of natural oils and minerals in the wood from exposure to the elements. The timber furniture is designed with this in mind and its strength and durability will remain unaffected.

Wooden furniture can be treated with Alexander Roses specially formulated care products to enhance the look of the wood.
