Maximise your YETI cooler's performance:

• Pre-Chill. Either store your Yeti in a cool environment or use a sacrificial bag of ice to cool it down.
• It is recommended to use a 2:1 ice-to-contents ratio. The more ice you use, the longer it will last.
• Use ice that is relatively dry, rather wet and dripping, as it will last much longer.
• Block ice melts at a much slower rate but cubed ice will chill the contents quicker. Consider using both types together.
• Large areas of air will melt the ice quicker, fill up empty space with more ice, if you can. Limit the number of times you open the cooler to avoid letting in warm air.
• Do not drain the water from your cooler once it is in use, as the water will help insulate. However, exposed food and meat should be kept out of the water.
• Use a YETI Ice Block to extend your regular ice.
